Who We Are
Shiloh Baptist Church has been a pinnacle of our Center community since 1842, we are located in Aiken, SC off of US Highway 1 – just north of I-20. We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, the South Carolina Baptist Convention, and the Aiken Baptist Association. We would love to worship with you on Sunday mornings at 10:15am. We also have Sunday evening service at 5pm, and Sunday School preceeding worship beginning at 9am – with classes for all ages.

Senior Pastor
Rev. Travis Hoeben
Pastor Travis came to Shiloh Baptist in June 2024. He served as the shepherd leader/transitional pastor at Shiloh until December 2025 when he was voted in as Senior Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church. He is originally from the PeeDee area of South Carolina and grew up as a pastor’s kid. He was born again at the age of six and has served in various ministry capacities over the years. He loves cross cultural ministry and recently just returned from a trip to Cuba.
Travis received his theological education and graduated from the Liberty University School of Divinity. He has been trained in congregational renewal in conjunction with the South Carolina Baptist convention.
He is married to Sarah and they have two boys. In his free time Travis enjoys fishing, going to the beach, and playing sports.
Ministry Assistant / Treasurer
Michelle Jackson
Michelle Jackson is a member of Shiloh Baptist Church serving as the Ministry Assistant/ Treasurer, since August 2023, a role that keeps the church running smoothly. In this role Michelle handles key responsibilities, e.g. Organizing church meetings, managing church finances, maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, and balances.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys gardening, reading, spending time with family.
Michelle is married to Mike and they have 3 children, Weston, Tiffany, and Tyler, they have two grandchildren, Stella and Eli who are such a joy to them.
Children/Youth Ministry Leader
Peighton grew up going to Shiloh as her home church. She was saved and baptized in 2008.
Peighton has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Business Administration.
In the Children/Youth Ministry Leader role she is responsible for overseeing our programs, assisting in teaching our future generation, and mentoring other individuals serving in the children/youth ministry.
She recently got married to Stephen, her middle school sweetheart. In her free time she enjoys going to Walt Disney World, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
